Frimley v Phoenix Cricket Club Phoenix on Sun 03 Jun 2012 at 14:00
Match was Drawn
Match report
The forecast was for rain but with hope both Frimley & Phoenix tried to make cricket a winner. With overcast conditions Kully won the toss and surprisingly elected take a bold & brave decision to bat first. Phoenix got off too the worst possible start as we lost Kully in the first over and then Fabian in the second without a run being scored. Shaunak and Richard then made it all look easy with a forty nine run partnership before Shaunak played on shot too many and after just ten overs the rains came with everyone shaking hands for a draw and an early Tea (the roast potatoes were extremely yummy).
The man of the match award goes to Shaunak for his IPL power hitting in such bad conditions and the half man and half amazing BDM Amazer award goes to Juggy for eating all his Tea.
