Match report Game 28 🆚 Egham.

Lost by 8 wickets as we just didn’t hold onto our catches. Good to see Fabian & Tushar Ilwahdi back in the team which made the game a laugh riot. Not to forget Gindi Dyal who we trying to lure back.

We made an 232 off our 35 overs but it did feel about 20 runs short of par as each time a batsman was set he got out that stemmed the last few overs bish bash bosh. We consistently scored but didnt manage to accelerate as we consistently lost wickets when we were on top. Special mention to Rajkaran Aulakh whose sublime form continues as he smashed 8️2 off 64 balls which included 16 fours & a six.

The bowling was decent enough but lacked the venom and penetration needed and for the second week a row a crucial LBW wasn’t given which would have changed the course of the game. Alas the key reason for defeat were the 5 shelled catches.

The last 3 games have gone into the last over and we need to learn to step up our game in under pressure situations. Widmer was our bowling, Chertsey was the batting and today it was the catching.

MOTM was Raj.
