Match report We beat Bank Of England by 80 runs. On losing the toss again we were requested by the opposing skipper to bat first. We made a fantastic start as Kully & Prince hit their 5th century partnership. Kully made a beautiful 102 (11 fours & 4 sixes) and Prince a rapid 51 (7 fours & a six). Haseeb then contributed with a quick fire 37 (2 fours & 4 sixes) as we made 228 in just 33 overs when Sanj declared the innings.

Special mention to Hounil (Nad's son) who debuted for Phoenix and performed well with the bat & in the field but was unlucky with the bowling.

Also another special mention to Kully who played this game for the first time since the death of his father who passed away during this game in 2013. A deserved century I must say to equal's Fabian's record.

Bank of England were never in the chase as Rowdy & Sanj took early wickets but their innings collapsed in two overs when Sakhil took 3 wickets in four balls as he found the yorker with ease and Gurdeep taking 2 wickets in 3 balls as they kept missing his full tosses. Vishal ended the innings as he took a wicket with his very first ball with Sakhil taking a sharp one handed catch low to his right.

The fun and banter between the two clubs is brilliant both on and off the field as we all joked and shared 4 jugs of beer at the end. A game that is always played in the correct spirit.
