Match report Beat Leigh by 3 wickets. What a game of cricket today. Sanj lost the toss and Phoenix had to bowl first on what was a very hot afternoon. We bowled well but the fielding has let us down once again with a host of dropped catches & misfielding which meant Leigh ended up making 237 off their 40 overs. Mannu was the pick of the bowling with 5 wickets as well as 2 run outs. Sethi & Jay opened the batting and put on 90 for the first wicket in 13 overs. What was next was a thing of beauty as Jay hit 137 off 80 balls which included 13 fours and 9 sixes. We had a small panic as we lost 5 quick wickets but Nad with nerves of steel took us home with back to back boundaries. We won with 4 overs to spare.
