Match report Beat Salix by 146 runs. Fantastic win with all the boys contributing be it with the bat, with the ball or in the field. Sanjeev Kumar was out injured again, will be a few weeks until he will be playing again due to muscle spasms in his back. With

Sanj injured Sethi Singh was captain of the ship and on winning the toss had no hesitation on batting first. The wicket looked quick and the outfield fast.

We batted fluently & excellently as we amassed 296 off our allowed 35 overs. Salix started well but maintaining the run rate cost them wickets and eventually they ran out of steam.

Also Raman & Jay made 105 run partnership in just 10 overs for the 5th wicket.

Sanj had to be carried home by the boys as his back totally seized up as he scored and watched the boys play. The pain and the sacrifice.

As usual to celebrate we ended up with a bottle of whiskey and a mixed grill.
