Match report Two games over the weekend with the second at Prestcold today. Luckily I won the toss & elected to bat first on a sweltering hot day. On a sour note we had 3 drop outs in the morning of the game and thanks to Meher, Itu & Ravi for stepping up when needed. Alas we made 188 as were bowled out in 36 overs but unfortunately the opposition chased down successfully in their 39th over.

Key highlights were Rajvinder Singh with the bat as he batted superbly for his maiden fifty as he hit 9 fours in a well made 6️1 off just 52 balls and with Sanjeev Kumar with the ball as his figures were 8 overs 2 wickets for 29 runs.

The defeat was down to us not coping with the pressure during the key moments in the game as we lost a bit of focus. With the bat we didn’t accelerate as we should have posted above two hundred. Also in the field giving away runs with sloppy fielding be it being in the wrong position or letting the ball slip through the hands.
Teamwork, Encouragement & Support are the key to victory and producing performances/results week after week. We work together to become stronger.
