Beat Bank Of England by 9 wickets. At last we got to play. First game of the season saw us beat Bank of England by 9 wickets. Highlights were Hasib making 100 on debut, Sandeep taking 5️ wickets & Sanjeev pulling of a stunning catch at long off.

We bowled BOE out for 169 and chased it down in just 22 overs. Sandeep was the pick of the bowling with figures of 11 overs 1 maiden 5 for 33. It could have been better if we didn’t drop about 5 catches.

In the chase, Hitesh Pabari hit a run a ball 23 which included 5 fours as he & Hasib put on 57 for the first wicket in 10 overs. Vishal Kumar made 34 off 36 balls which included 3 fours & a six. He & Hasib put on 114 in 12 overs to take us home.

Special mention to Hasib who played beautifully well as he made 101 off just 68 balls which included 10 fours & 6 sixes.

An excellent game & contribution made by all. As always to celebrate there has to be dinner & drinks..
