Match report Two games over the weekend with the first at Queensbury. Luckily I won the toss & elected to field first on what looked like a tough wicket to bat on. We started brilliantly with the ball as we bowled them out for 122 with wickets for all the bowlers - Rajvinder Singh (1), Farhan Nabeel (4), Chirayu Shah(2) & Sanjeev Kumar (3). There was some excellent fielding with catches from Vikas Haripuriya and Vishal Kumar, who was tremendous behind the stumps again.

The run chase started disastrously as after 4 overs we were 5 runs with the loss of 4 wickets and then at 22 for 5 we were staring down the barrel of defeat. The top five scoring only 5 runs between them and at this point the highest score were extras.Then there were two key partnerships, firstly with Zafir & Sandeep as they made 50 to take us close to the winning line and secondly with Zafir & Rowdy as they made 28 to take us over the winning line.

Zafir then batted brilliantly as he hit 6 fours & a six scoring an excellent & hard fought 5️4 not out off just 61 balls.

Also making his debut was Itmadin aka Itu.
