Match report Game 16 🆚 Whittington was a low scoring affair on a very bowler friendly track. We won quite easily at the end by 65 runs as we defended 121.

At 15-4 a repeat of Long Ditton was on the cards but that wasn’t to be the case as Babbu made a superb 6️5 not out off 61 balls which included 7 fours & a six. A brilliant knock in those conditions as at one stage we didn’t look like we would get to 100.

After tea, we knew we had to bowl & field well to stay in the hunt for victory. Nick bowled with accuracy & swing as he ended up with 4 for 24 and Sanjeev Kumar figures of 12 overs, 6 maidens, 3 for 7 were testament to the control he had.

There were some excellent catching with Vishal Surve taking a sharp running catch at backward square, Sanj taking a stunner at first slip, Chirayu Shah taking a skier at short mid wicket & Vishal Kumar taking a diving one hander behind the stumps.
