Match report Game 27 🆚 Widmer St Margarets. Last night we just had 7 players & eventually I got a full side out but pound for pound we were no match for the opposition.

We lost by 50 runs chasing 197 as we conceded a bit too many than needed. Nick was the outstanding bowler as he conceded only 11 runs off his 7 over spell & was unlucky not to have more. Vicky Haripuriya took 3 wickets but unfortunately his last over went for 18.

We started well but kept on losing wickets consistently throughout the innings which made us lose momentum and unfortunately exposed our long tail a bit too early. Rajinder Chouhan made 48 which included 5 fours & 2 sixes and Baljit Suman hit 31 which included 6 fours but when they were out the game was then lost.

The worst a player can bring to the team is a very poor attitude and going forward anyone who lets the club down in such a way will be dropped for the following match. A good attitude brings both positivity & performance to a team which in turn brings the results that are expected. A negative attitude will only cause defeat to the player & limit their ability.

Thanks to Meher, Maheep, Vinay & Ishan who helped the team out of pickle as we were struggling for players.
