Match report Game 29 🆚 Ealing Trailfinders. An excellent 9 run win as we defend 167 in 35 overs. Rajkaran Aulakh with an excellent 💯, he made 1️07 off 92 balls which included 7 fours & 6️ sixes, Anshul Shah with 4 wickets and Sanjeev Kumar didn’t do to bad with figures of 7-3-7-1.

With a few people dropping out over the week, some late arrivals and one unfortunate no show the batting line up was more of a bowling line as we had one recognised batsman, one player playing after 10 years and one young newcomer to the team. Raj held the innings together and it is commendable that we scored the score that we did.

We bowled extremely well and under the conditions it was soon seen that this was a slow track and thus the skipper had to ring the chnages and just bowl spin in the death. There were some bowlers who understood the situation and there were some who thought very different which is not an issue, the captain is here to listen to all comments but this is to be done once the match is finished. Refusing to continue to field, threatening to walk off and not listening to the captain's instructions is not acceptable.

We were excellent in the field with Mannu Singh with a run out, Jazmeet Gabba & Sagheer Ahmad with a well taken catches in the deep and Rajvinder Singh with 3 dismissals (2 catches & a stumping with his excellent part time wicket keeping).

Brilliant to see Bob Rehill back and now just need Romy Sharma to step up. Last time we played together was the summer of 2005!!
