Match report Game 6 v South Hampstead. Lost by 6 wickets as we just couldn’t hold onto our catches.

We made off our allotted 40 overs with the main stay of the innings being Rajkaran with a superb as he scored runs fluently and batted with ease. He was the only int in the top eight that took the game to the opposition as he made an exquisite off just 96 balls that included fours and sixes.

The lower order of Iliyan, Opi and Sanjee wagged the tail as they scored 50 in the final 8 overs.

After tea we started extremely well as we had the opposition 22-2 with catches from Sanjeev, a stunning effort at first slip, and Sagar who took a simple catch at mid wicket. That was as good as it got as we then managed to drop 5 catches and missed 2 run out chances and the 3 lucky boys took full advantage. Instead of having the opposition at 22-4 they plundered the runs scoring 107, 25 and 47 respectively and putting on the 200 to win.

We have to be much better than we have been this weekend as both defeats were the result of dropped 6 catches and 8 ducks . From being on top and favourites for both games we ended losing them.

Sanjeev took 1 wicket and is now 5 away from 600, he is on wickets!
