Match report Game 11 v Sunbury. Lost by 1 run with 1 ball to go. Unfortunately we dropped the catch to win the match.

We struggled to get going and were playing slowly as we lost wickets as soon as we looked set. Yakob coming in at 10, smashed 47 off 30 balls which included 6 fours and 2 sixes, took us to a respectable score but we were bowled out in the 32nd over. Totally criminal not to bat out full allocation of 40.

We bowled well with Sandeep taking 4, Mannu with 3 and Sanjeev with 2 wickets. Our ground fielding and catching was poor once again with missed chance after missed chance. We should have won the game easily when we have them 9 down with 26 runs to win in 8 overs.

It’s time to learn the basics and taking ownership of your own ability to improve. Blaming others on what you can’t even do yourself is just blindness.
