Match report Game 24 v Hounslow. An excellent 38 run victory in today’s evening T20.

We scored 196 with Harman Johal unluckily getting out on 99 off just 47 balls which included 10 x 4s and 7 x 6s! A brutal knock as he shared a 93 run partnership with Faaris in just 9 overs.

We defended quite easily once we got Imran and Wendel J Sebastian out as bowled and fielded very well. Sandeep and Sanjeev were at their best taking 3 wickets each. Jeeta Dhillon’s boy, Yuvraj, took his first wicket on debut alongside Hemant who took a wicket with his very first ball for the club.

There were some excellent catches from Raj Patel at square leg, Hemant at backward point as the ball was travelling but the cream of them all was Jeeta’s brilliance in gully. He pulled out his hand as the ball was about to pass above him and then caught it on the rebound one handed.

Zafir was excellent as part time keeper as took two thin edge catches and a stumping off the captain, Sanjeev.

Debuts for Aadil, Ali Shah, Hemant and Yuvraj.
