Match report Game 15 v Bagshot Cricket Club. Won by 8 wickets as we chased 243 with centuries from Chohan and Jay.

We started well with 2 quick wickets from Vinit and Mitul Bathia who both bowled with economical precision but at 25 overs Bagshot were crushing at over 7 per over and we thought we would be chasing neatly three hundred.

Abdul then took the crucial wicket of the big hitting opposition batsman and soon after normality was restored. Sanjeev Kumar and Iliyan Panjwani took 2 each and Jay had 3 dismissals as he kept wonderfully.

At tea, we knew a good start and solid partnerships would be the key ingredients for a successful run chase.

Chohan and Jay didn’t disappoint as they put on 244 for the 2nd wicket in 36.1 overs with Jay Sankar scoring 107 off 102 balls which included 15 fours & 2 sixes and Muhammad Chohan scoring 102 off 109 balls which included 15 fours.. They broke the following records:

Highest partnership for the 2nd Wicket which was 188 that was held by Fabian Saverimuttu & Noman Sohail v Chalfont St Peter on 17 August 2008.
Highest partnership which was 200* that was held by Fabian Saverimuttu & Shaunak Bhide v Tring Park on 2 September 2012.

A big cheer for Siraj who hit the winning runs in the 37th over.
