Match report Game 18 v Ockham Cricket Club.

An excellent 88 run victory as we batted, bowled and fielded well. An excellent all round team performance as everyone contributed.

Chohan and Jay didn’t disappoint again as they put on 1️⃣0️⃣2️⃣ for the opening stand in 19.3 overs. Chohan was excellent with another half century as he scored 63 off 69 balls which included 9 fours.

The cameo came at the end with as we scored 110 in the final 16 overs with Opi contributing with 49 and Abdul with 31 runs. At tea, we were sitting pretty with 244 on the board.

Viyan bowling with express pace for his young years took the crucial breakthrough wicket of the opposition captain as he was just starting to hit everyone all over the park.

Opi was the key bowler with 3 wickets in an over and unlucky not to have a hattrick. He ended up with 4 dismissals that also included a run out.

Sanjeev has made slip fielding his own with another 2 superb efforts at first slip. Like wine, he is getting better with age.
