Match report Game 1 🆚 Long Ditton. Just didn’t score enough runs but to our credit we took the game deep. Lost by 2 wickets as we couldn’t defend 168; alas 2 dropped catches proved to be crucial.

First game of the season all was going well with me winning the toss and at the half way stage we were 117 for 4. Jeeta, Sunny & Dhamen all scored but unfortunately never got to go on to score big. Criminally we didn’t bat our overs with eight going spare and that cost us 40 runs.

Bowling wise we took wickets consistently enough but Long Ditton were scoring at 7 runs per over with ease. The game was balanced but 2 crucial drops at the end at a pivotal moment swang the game in Long Ditton’s favour. Sandeep was the key bowler with 3 wickets and was well supported by Babbu, Abhishek & Sanjeev.
