Match report Game 20 v Phoenix RFC.
Lost the battle of the firebirds cup by 3 wickets and they lead the series 3-2 over the years with 1 draw.

We just didn’t score enough runs as we went from 40 for no loss in 6 overs to 120 all out in 28 overs. That was 80 for 10 in 22 overs which frankly wasn’t good enough.

It was always going to be a tough task to defend that total on what was a batting tease but alas it wasn’t to be this time. Unfortunately we just couldn’t stem the runs or bowl them out as the opposition chased the score down with 7 wickets down in the 32nd over.

Highlights were:
Vishal Ambersriya was excellent with 3 wickets of the openers and took a catch in the deep.
Jay Sankar was superb behind the stumps with 2 catches and a stumping.
Sanjeev Kumar bowled beautifully with figures of 7-2-15-2.

Debut for Riyan.
