Match report Game 19 v Hampton Hill Cricket Club.

An excellent 136 run victory as we batted, bowled and fielded well.

We won the toss and soon were struggling to score runs as we continued to lose wickets. At 20 overs we were 87 for 7.

Then Manoj and Sanjeev put on 59 for the 10th wicket as they took the score to 191.

Manoj Dalvi was brilliant keeping the innings on track as he scored a century on debut, making a superb off 124 balls that included 13 fours and a six.

We won with ease at the end as the bowling and fielding was top class. Sanjeev Kumar was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 7-2-12-4.

But it was also excellent to see the young guns doing their part with Vinay Kashyap boy Viyan taking 2 wickets with his pace, Raj Patel boy taking 2 wickets with his leg doing and Muhammad Chohan boy Aamish taking his debut wicket. Special mention to Lalith for his first wicket for the club.

Fielding wise we took some super catches with Raj taking 3 in the gully, Anand Pimple and Salman Merchant at Mid Off and Manoj at cover.

A sublime team performance where everyone got involved.
