In our clash against Holtwhites Trinibis, we succumbed to a superior side, failing to set a competitive target and ultimately losing by 8 wickets.

Upon winning the toss, we elected to bat first. Unfortunately, this decision marked the peak of our batting fortunes. The early loss of last week's centurion set a negative tone, and our batting line-up struggled to gain momentum thereafter. Lacking significant contributions from other batsmen, we were bowled out for a modest 144. A promising start at 74-2 quickly spiralled into a collapse, as we lost six wickets for just 25 runs, slumping to 99-8 in a mere eight overs.

Defending a low total, our bowlers approached the task with determination. Opi managed to secure an early breakthrough with a fantastic catch by Rajkaran as the ball soared high. Another highlight of our bowling effort was the debut of Vishal Vadher, who made an immediate impact by taking a wicket with his very first ball. However, these moments of brilliance were overshadowed by subpar fielding. Our lethargy and lack of adherence to fielding positions led to missed opportunities and the conceding of easy runs.

Holtwhites Trinibis capitalized on our errors and chased down the target effortlessly, achieving victory with 8 wickets and 11 overs to spare. Their dominance highlighted the gap in performance between the two sides on the day.
