Match report Beat Frimley by 118 runs. An awesome batting display in which we scored our second highest total of 338 and this was only 3 short of the record. Prince & Vishal got us off to a good start but Vishal's achilies heal of lost of concentration as the bat doesnt come down straight cost him his wicket. Prince & Sethi then put on 102 for the next wicket as they went after the bowling. Prince majestically went to his second hundred hitting 20 fours as he held the innings together, he finally retired in the 32nd over after scoring 110 of just 94 balls.

Sethi was on fire with 72 of just 37 balls which included 11 fours & 3 sixes and Babbu was at his best with 56 of just 31 balls which included 10 fours & a six. A mention to Hitesh who finally scored his first runs for Phoenix after 3 attempts, a well made 28 before he unfortunately had to retire hurt.

At tea we all sat down and stuffed ourselves as we were content with the score made. To note the Frimley teas are awesome. We came onto the field knowing we have to do our basics well and we would win this game and this we did with the odd slip. Sakhil & Gurdeep got us to the perfect start with early wickets and then Mannu, who has been bowling brilliantly, kept up his form & was rewarded with 3 wickets. Babbu was electric in the field with a catch & a run out as he hit the stumps with ease. Last but not at least a mention to Vipen who firstly dropped a dolly but then produced an outstanding effort to hold onto a catch in the slips.

Everyone contributed and the game was played in the bestest of spirits as banter & laughter came from both teams. A special mention to Frimley who we have a 'bond' with and play the game as it should be.

To celebrate we went to Sanj's for a BBQ and to get into the groove even though Madonna is lost on the boys as Bhangra was the order of the day. The music of Honey Singh could be heard across Cranford as the boys danced & sang:
