Match report Two games over the weekend with the first at Fulmer. We won the toss and after a disastrous start from 14 for 4 we reached 225 off our alloted 40 overs. The key highlight was with Rahul & Zafir making a 114 run partnership for the fifth wicket in just 15 overs.

Rahul Ghai made a superb 50 which included 10 fours & a six off just 33 balls. Zafir batted brilliantly as he smashed 8 fours & 5 sixes scoring a magnificent 1️14 not out off just 69 balls. Truly spectacular.

We bowled & fielded well but lost the game with just 2 balls to spare. Vishal Kumar was behind the wicket & did a grand job with a runout & a stumping. Unfortunately the key & major difference was we just played with 9 players & ultimately the opposition took advantage of the gaps in the field. This was a massive disadvantage to us as Farhan Nabeel hurt his hand severely whilst fielding in just the eighth over and Sanjeev Kumar was carrying an injury into the game.
